Hello everyone. I am Madeline Mae, a most beautiful Ragdoll cat. I am an award winning show kitty now enjoying my retirement. My life is good. I stay very busy keeping table tops clean of clutter, making sure that the water dishes are filled with clean fresh water twice a day, and my meals are served in clean dishes. It’s very important to have some sense of civility. Theo doesn’t really care about any of that. He can be quite annoying, but I tolerate him. Vincent is sweet and we get along fine.

Rob wanted me to make an entry in this blog, so this is what I say.

I’m told that my breeding is called Ragdoll. My father was named Zabian. I’m told he’s quite well known: large, dark and handsome. Of course, that’s where I get my good looks, amazing intelligence and strong personality. My brother looks like our mom, nicknamed Baby, who was fair haired, beautiful and sensitive. Now I run this house and take care of my little brother, who really is quite sensitive. He’s what some people might call a deep thinker. I think he just can’t make decisions. I make decisions all the time, like it’s time to eat, it’s time to sleep, it’s time to eat, it’s time to sing, it’s time to wrestle, it’s time to eat.

Okay. I’m not getting fat. I want to put an end to the rumors. I might look a bit fuller, but that’s because my hair has grown out. And it’s been really cold, so of course I’m eating a little more. I’m storing up for winter.

And it’s really boring around here with all this snow.

The Christmas tree hasn’t even been put up yet, there are no bird feeders because of a few stupid bears, the flies are hibernating, … I could go on but it’s too upsetting.

The only thing remotely interesting is Betty hitting those white balls across the floor into that coffee mug. Don’t ask.

rob is a keyboard hog. she’ll be doing whatever on this computer and i’ll be waiting under the lamp thinking up brilliant ideas and then Madeline disturbs my process … so i go upstairs to see if i can talk roberta into making me a snack … then i forget what i was going to say. it was genius.

Vincent has been so annoying this week. I thought it was my haircut. But now I think he feels … dissed? is that the word?

More like hissed.
