Gatto SiameseAttention art collectors or investors

Bronze sculptures in the post WWII modern styling created by world renowned artist Silvana Cenci are on sale through her estate representative. Cenci, born in Florence,Stainless steel Italy in 1926, is best known for her use of plastic explosives in controlled detonation against stainless steel. Her early career, however, is marked by her monumental sculptures in bronze using the lost wax process. Some of her bronze work and a few pieces of her stainless steel are available. Cenci has been noted in several

publications and television programs. Her career began in Europe and extended to both U.S. coasts. She had also been artist in residence for the City of Boston.

Go Shopping!

December 29th, 2007 by Robyn

My Amazon storefront is now open for business: Dubbah’s Little Store. Featured are several web-related books that were very helpful to me when getting started - and I still refer to them regularly. They’re well-written and affordable.

I’m not what you’d call a great reader, but I have found many books to be life-enriching or just really helpful. I’ve started to feature them in my little store. I hope you take a look and find something that’s good for you, too. Feel free to contact me for more recommendations.

And then we have Get Fuzzy by Darby Conley. The main human character is named Rob, the cat is Bucky and the dog is Satchel. Bucky is definitely one of Theo’s heroes and Satchel is another version of my dog, Dakota. Anyway, the comic is very funny on many levels.

I plan to build my own Garage Sale section on the site, too, so I can sell some books I no longer need, some polymer clay jewelry I used to make, and some Bronze Age comic books.

Been sprucing the site up with a new header banner. The photo was taken this past Fall just past Madawaska Lake, Aroostook County.

For more photos of Maine, visit Picture This Photo Art. Photos of all sorts, including the historic Portland Head Lighthouse. Theo the notorious Ragdoll and his friends are featured, along with other feline and canine characters.

Freebies: Free Wallpapers

December 3rd, 2007 by Robyn

I thought it a good idea to offer site visitors a little freebie, like the samples tray at Walmart. I dug out some 3-D images I made with Vue d-esprit. I’ll be making more and throwing in some other photographic type wallpapers. If you’re interested, go on and click the Freebies link.

Also, there’s a website planning guide. This pdf helps you plan out your site, asking questions about what you want. It’s just a simple way to organize your thoughts when you’re planning to get a site or improve an old one.

Hosting and Domains!

November 21st, 2007 by Robyn

Just in time for the holidays…phew! The domain registration and hosting service division of Dubbah Design is now open for business.

I decided to add this service for several reasons.  Among them is the fact that it’s easier to work on someone’s site if I have an intimate knowledge of their server. I was reluctant at first to get into this area, but since I have such great tech support, it became a no-brainer.

So, another adventure begins.

Hosting plans start at $5 per month. I give discounts to nonprofits.
