DESIGN SAMPLES

Menu rollovers are done with CSS. These examples are fixed-width designs. Variable width designs can also be created. These have been tested in IE6 & 7, Firefox, Opera 8, Netscape 7 and Safari.

(Demos open in a new browser window.)

Happy Window style

A basic two-column layout, with a banner area and footer area. Navigation is horizontal with rollover color change.

Different grahics and color scheme can be made to customize this design.

See Demo.

Moose

A rounded-corner style, two-column layout. The demo has just the index page.

Beach style

This style has a softer look, with rounded corners on the main container. Horizontal navigation has text color rollover.

Simple Three Column

A basic three-column layout with rollover horizontal navigation. Very easy to change the color scheme on this one. It looks plain and dull here, but it's just the framework for your ideas.

See Demo.

Tabbed

A variation on the basic three-column, using tabbed navigation graphics. This also demonstrates a change in color to the basic design and a different style menu.

Window Box

Here's another variation on a simple box model site, basically a two column.

See Demo.

Uncluttered

Another basic layout. This is a two-column with a bottom area for extra content. The navigation is vertical with rollover graphics. The background in this one is white. The next design uses the same layout only with a change to the background.

Uncluttered 2

Same as above only with a change to the background. Easy to change to suit your taste.

Blue template

This is a template from Style Master, modified in subtle ways, but demonstrates my ability to use pre-made templates and modify them. The Brown template below is the same template with the color scheme changed to the brown hue.

Brown template

This is the Brown template, which is actually the Blue template after the graphics were modified to the brown hue.
